Tick season is coming up, which means it’s a great time to prepare some natural tick repellent, so here’s a super simple recipe:
Rose Geranium essential oil.
That’s it!
I haven’t tried it yet, but I read it works well, so I’m am going to order some Rose Geranium ASAP because I love hiking in the woods, but I do not like ticks.
From what I’ve read, all you have to do is add few dabs where ticks are likely to hitch a ride and they’ll be repelled before they climb aboard.
Want something that covers a bit more surface area?
Tick Repellent Spray
- 1 glass or metal spray bottle
- 1 tablespoon vodka or witch hazel
- 40 drops Rose Geranium essential oil
- ⅓ cup distilled water
Shake it well before you use it.
Want a great video of how to make it? I reat about this tick repellent over on Primally Inspired.
