Learn How to Grow a Spiritual Business as a Private Practitioner or Community Leader

If you're anything like me, I imagine you feel called to create a meaningful career by helping others
  • live authentic lives

  • listen to the Divine within and without

  • explore their hidden potential

  • awaken through a variety of methods (prayer, creativity, dreamwork, bodywork…)

  • heal in body, mind and soul

  • feel heard and seen

  • find inner peace and joy

It's tremendously fulfilling to have a career that is perfectly aligned with your inner self, and nourishes you as well as your clients.

And the truth is, you can probably grow a private practice without a website, blog or a marketing plan if you

  • are a leader in a church, temple, synagogue, or spiritual center

  • are an established author with a following

  • teach in your field at a university or seminary

  • have a magnetic personality that easily draws attention from the media or large crowds of people

  • have been on Oprah

But, if you aren't one of those people, and let’s face it, even if you are, you will definitely benefit from cultivating an internet presence and marketing plan.

I know what you’re thinking. “That’s all fine and good, but how do you sell spiritual services?”

Ready to find out? Imagine this:

You're enjoying a quiet Tuesday morning when suddenly the phone rings. The woman on the other end of the line says, "Hi my name is Jody and I just found your website through another website. I'm looking for people to speak at my event and based on your information, you perfectly fit my needs. Are you interested? We can pay you"

Despite your nerves, you say yes because you know that public speaking is one of the best ways to grow your private practice.

The day of the event rolls around and you're a big hit. You know this because people line up to tell you.

But believe it or not, none of that is the good part.

The good part is that Jody discovered you because you have a website that details a variety of your services, and after meeting you in person, Jody asks to engage in weekly one-on-one sessions with you.

So not only did you get paid for the speaking gig, you also met a woman who becomes one of your favorite – weekly – clients. And to top it off, several people from the event ask you if you'd consider becoming a permanent spiritual leader in their community.

Sound too good to be true?

It’s not. It’s a true story: mine. And it’s just one of the ways the universe (or God or the Divine) can support you if you’re willing to “grow the extra mile” by challenging yourself to think beyond your comfort zone.

And did you notice that there was no hard sell involved? In fact, other than having a link from someone else’s website to my own, I did nothing. Of course, I had to create the website, write the text, and request a link to my site from someone else’s site, but I didn’t solicit myself in any other way.

Dear Amy,

It's pretty fantastic - my business nearly doubled in one year. The website helped a lot! Everyone said they loved it, that it was beautiful and appealing and that they liked my words, too. Some said as soon as they saw the website they knew I was the one they were looking for!

I know how awkward it can feel to self-promote. But if people aren’t lining up in the streets to engage in your services, and you want to grow your practice and have an enjoyable lifestyle that supports you, you have to do something. And since I have years of experience in web development, marketing and spiritual guidance, I can teach you exactly what you need to know and guide you through the process.

The first thing you need to learn is the “secret” bottom line: good marketing in the 21st century is all about being real and honest.

That’s good news for us becase it's much easier to be real than to adopt the persona of a pushy salesman!

So, I imagine by now you’re ready to learn what exactly I do with clients who are trying to grow a private practice or business.

Here’s a preview of some of the things you'll learn when you work with me:

  • How to get started growing your spiritually based business or private practice

  • How to find clarity about your life purpose to ensure you grow in the right direction

  • How to create a business that nourishes you as well as your clients

  • How to create a website that will attract your perfect client (I will help you with most, if not all, of this: design, layout, technical aspects)

  • Marketing practices that fit your personality type

  • How to build your contact list

  • How to organize your day so you’re more efficient

  • How to create materials you can sell or give away for free on your website

  • How to create e-classes

  • How to create a marketing plan that works for you

  • What to charge for your services

  • How to write copy so people are eager to engage with you

  • How to respond to the emotional blocks that get in your way

  • Where to find vendors that offer invaluable – FREE – services

  • Discover who is visiting your site and why

  • How to design professional looking flyers and correspondence

Also, if you join my upcoming group program (G.E.M. or Grow the Extra Mile) you’ll have other like-minded people supporting you through:

  • Monthly teleconference meetings to learn everything I mentioned above

  • Regular grop contact

  • Private forums

  • Peer feedback
