How to Wake Up Your Spiritual Heart and Mind

Are you looking for a way to deepen your spiritual awareness and integrate it more fully into your life?

If so, spiritual direction (also called spiritual counseling, spiritual coaching, and spiritual companioning) can help you discover a path that fits your personality and spiritual beliefs.

In interfaith spiritual direction you can learn to

  • understand the bigger story of your life
  • cultivate spiritual success
  • listen to the voice of Spirit (the Divine within or without)
  • rediscover the spiritual side of God or the Divine or Life
  • explore the depth of your experience
  • find meaning in your spiritual journey
  • find clarity in frustrating, sometimes recurring, life situations
  • develop your spiritual theology
  • understand your sleeping and waking life dreams
  • grow a spiritual prayer practice
  • engage creatively in your process
  • connect with your spiritual heart
  • heal from past spiritual wounds
  • ask the big questions like:

Where is Spirit leading you?

"Thanks for all the help you've given me over the past few years. I've grown so much spiritually since I started meeting with you. Our meetings were sometimes more helpful to me than therapy! They spoke to my heart and the writer/artist in me.

Thank you.Thank you. Thank you."

Grow Spiritually Alive with Spiritual Guidance

Whether you are deeply rooted in your family's religious tradition, seeking a spiritual path that feels right for you, contemplating atheism, or are struggling with balance in mind-body-soul, spiritual direction can help you deepen your experience and embrace a life that is rich and rewarding.

There are many ways of engaging in spiritual guidance. If you are a creative person or enjoy dream exploration, we may be a perfect fit.

As a spiritual director, I listen to you and ask thought provoking questions to help you discern where spirit is guiding you. Since spiritual guidance is about deepening and exploring life, people usually engage in spiritual direction weekly, twice a month or monthly. This on-going relationship allows the two of us to truly get to know one another, enhancing the process. The relationship might last for several months, or a lifetime!

The practice is multi-faceted and can be tailored to your specific needs. Together we can create art, do dreamwork, go for walks in the woods or simply sit together while drinking tea and contemplating the quiet whisper of spirit. We can also do session quite easily over the phone.
