Freezing in Minnesota!
I’ve been in Minnesota for a few weeks to celebrate the holidays with my family. Even though I’m from here I have a hard time with the cold weather. I thought yesterday was bad at 5 degrees above zero, but today it’s 20 below!
Anyway, there’s a thing we do here when it’s this cold – throw boiling hot water into the freezing cold air. It may sound strange, but it’s actually quite fun. My parents and I video recorded our experiment, but it didn’t go quite as we planned. Watch and see!

Giving Helped Me Learn Gratitude
Awhile back I was nearly destitute. I’d recently left a job with a steady paycheck, had no savings and was self-employed. It takes time to build income as a self-employed person and it hadn’t been more than a couple months since I left my job.
Needless to say, I had very little money and no idea how I was going to make any. While I was pondering this problem, someone knocked at my front door. In my experience, there’s only one reason why people come calling at 7:00 at night and that’s to get money.
How Not to Get Clients

A lot of people trying to grow their lifework into a practice or business often ask, “How do I get clients?” If that’s the question you’re asking, you’re asking the wrong question. A better question is, “How can I attract clients?”
