The Many Faces of Amy Brucker

When I was in college I had a professor who said, "Great artists know as many art mediums as possible." I took her words to heart and set out to learn as many as I could, but I didn't stop with studio arts.

Throughout the years I've immersed myself in every creative avenue I could find, from painting to computer graphics, from writing pros to writing web code. After seminary, I decided to combine the many faces of my creative and analytical spirit into one ministry.

So, if you ask me what it is I “do for a living” I might tell you this:

I’m a creative soulutionist.

Of course, it’s a made up word. But, it perfectly captures what it is I do.

A “creative soulutionist” is a creative guide who assists others in finding soulful solutions for their life and career so they can more easily create a thriving, holistic life they love!

How else would you explain the combination of my experience as an analyst in the corporate world, director of operations (finances, strategic planning) at a small seminary, or ten years as a graphic artist and later a web designer, all mixed up into one person who is also an interfaith minister, teacher, experienced spiritual director, dream explorer, artist and all around creative seeker who naturally finds connections between things, and simply thrives in any atmosphere where there is a problem to solve?

It's been a unique journey, one I never would have conjured up if I'd tried to think my way through life. Instead, I listened to my heart, following every whisper and bit of light that illuminated the darkest corners of my path. I've been through it all: dark nights of the soul, spiritual elation, periods of deep presence, frustrating "monkey-mind", struggle, success - all in the name of spiritual growth. If I had the choice, I wouldn't change a single thing!

And it's because I've cycled through life's ups and downs in my private practice and personal journey that I'm able to support you on your journey.

If you're looking for someone to walk with you on your spiritual journey or guide you in growing your spiritually based private practice or business, I invite you to read the pages of this site and sign up for Grow Up: Spiritual Growth in a Weedy World, my free e-zine/newsletter.
